“One day it’s an actor, another day it’s a cricketer, and now it’s a doctor. These rumours make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree,” she says. She addresses that while loves the idea of being in love, she holds the sanctity of marriage quite seriously and would certainly announce it to the world whenever the time comes.
“I am happily single at the moment and my parents aren’t groom hunting,” she says, adding that she has work to focus on and she will continue romancing her cinematic endeavors.

On the work front, Tamannaah recently wrapped up the shooting for That Is Mahalakshmi, the Telugu version of the Bollywood film Queen. The Telugu remake is being directed by Prashanth Varma, who made his directorial debut with Awe this year. The young filmmaker will be replacing filmmaker Neelakanta, who was initially roped in last year for directing the film.
She also has period flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, for which she has been learning Bharatnatyam. Her Telugu film Naa Nuvve with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram recently released. And she also has Seenu Ramasamy’s Kanne Kalaimane in the pipeline.
