Samantha, who was last seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is now officially working on a number of projects including Yashodha and Kushi. She is meanwhile awaiting the release of Shaakunthalam. She also bagged the opportunity to play the role of a queer woman in Philip John’s Arrangements of Love.

Now, Taapsee Pannu has revealed that she will be producing a film headlined by Samantha. In a recent interview, she said, “There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it.” She started her journey as a producer with the film Dhak Dhak.

When asked if she would also play a role in the film, she said, “If there is a part in it that I can do, then I would, but she (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) is going to be leading it.” Meanwhile, Taapsee is busy promoting her film Sabaash Mithu, a biopic on the Cricketer Mithali Raj. She is also acting in and producing the Hindi film Blurr. Her other projects include, Jana Gana Mana, Dobaaraa, and Alien.
