Suriya’s 2 consecutive hits, Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara and Jai Bhim directed K E Gnanavel, were direct-to-digital platform release, as both films released on Amazon Prime. However, this film recieved a lot of awards, love, appreciation and recognition worldwide. No matter what, watching a film, especially a blockbuster in theatres, is something so different than watching them at home. So, the two films are all set to have theatre releases, pretty soon.

Actor Suriya’s birthday is coming up on 23rd July. On the occasion of the Actor’s big day, these films are to be released in theatres on 22nd July. Moreover, the two films will be available throughout the weekend, from 22nd to 24th July. The buzz is that these films are to release across theatres in Tamil Nadu. On the work front, Suriya who was last seen on Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is currently only working on Bala’s Vanangaan. He is also supposedly doing a small cameo in the remake of Soorarai Pottru in Hindi, starring Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan.
