Amidst the ongoing protests for the Jallikattu, many stars took to social media and took part in a silent protest with at Nadigar Sangam. Kollywood turned in huge numbers including Superstar Rajinikanth, Ajith, Shalini, Trisha, Suriya and many others.
Ilathalapathy Vijay chose to be a part of the protest at Marina and spend the night at he beach. When there’s such unrest, PETA has been topping headlines for some insensitive comments on Jallikattu. The animal welfare organisation commented that Suriya has been protesting against Jallikattu in order to promote his movie Singham 3, terming it a publicity stunt.
In response to the comments, the Kollywood star has sent a legal notice to the organisation.
