Suhasini Clarifies Rumours About Mani Ratnam!

Yesterday, the whole of social media including Twitter and Instagram were drowning with messages and posts from fans celebrating the birthdays of two legends associated with the Kollywood industry, Director Mani Ratnam and Music Director Ilaiyaraaja. A lot of celebrities had also conveyed their wishes to Director Mani Ratnam through their social media accounts.

While wishes were pouring in, there was also a rumour that the Director has joined twitter officially, according to Suhasini Mani Ratnam. She therefore made it a point to take it to her own twitter page to refute those claims and rumours.

There is a person claiming to be @ Dir_ ManiRatnam has tweeted that director ManiRatnam is starting his Twitter account today. It is false. He’s an impersonator. Pls be aware and spread the word around. Thank you.

Meanwhile, the last Mani Ratnam film was Vaanam Kottatum that was released in 2020. The director is currently working on Ponniyin Selvan that has a lot of anticipation from the Tamil movie buffs. The movie is a big-budget one with an ensemble cast consisting of Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, etc. in lead roles. It is produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions. And the film’s music is by AR Rahman.

Suhasini was last seen on Putham Pudhu Kalai where she played a role and directed one of the films in the anthology, ‘Coffee, anyone?’
