Sudha Kongara has just won the National Award for her film Soorarai Pottru, a film that has also won 4 other awards. The Director is currently busy directing Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan for the Hindi remake of this movie. Actor Suriya is reportedly making a cameo in this Hindi remake. Now, after this film, Sudha is to join hands with the producers of KGF, who made the announcement a while ago.

Now, the latest report is that the director is all set to do a film with actor Silambarasan. There has been no official announcement or confirmation yet, but the film is most likely to go on floors by the end of this year.

On the work front Silambarasan just saw the release of Maha, and is currently working on Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu. He is also working on two other films, namely, Pathu Thala and Corona Kumar.

On the other hand, Sudha recently shared,“Both Suriya and Akshay sir are very different as actors. Apart from that one show which we had, I don’t think Akshay sir has watched the film again. He brings his own interpretation to the character. They are two different actors, and that’s what they bring to the film and that changes the tonality of the character. And that works brilliantly for me.”
