The show is about a wedding planning agency led by her and Arjun Mathur. She was paired opposite Jim Sarbh and their chemistry was sizzling in this one. Every episode dealt with a different couple and their wedding planning journey along with parallel storylines of the lead. Her work was greatly appreciated and the second season is in progress.
The Night Manager
The latest series that she acted in was The Night Manager with Anil Kapoor and Aditya Rao Kapoor. She plays Anil Kapoor’s girlfriend in the show. Anil Kapoor is Shelly Rungta, an arms dealer posing as a businessman. In this spy thriller, Sobhita plays the incredibly gorgeous and sensuous lady love with a mysterious backstory yet to be revealed.
Ponniyin Selvan
Sobhita Dhulipala plays Princess Vaanathi of Kodumbalur. This was her first film in Tamil and her work in Mani Ratnam’s epic story is nothing like she had done before. The movie is centred around its women and to be cast as one of the princesses in this historical drama movie was a dream come true for her.

She takes up roles that matter, so whether it is a supporting actor or a special appearance, she is all up for it. The movie is based on the real-life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who died fighting the terrorists at the Taj Palace hotel In Mumbai. Her character was based on a real person who was rescued during the attack by the brave Major.
Kurup
Sobhita played Sharada Kurup in Dulquer Salman’s Malayalam film titled Kurup. During her interviews for the movie promotions, she said “I’m always curious about the person who gets to be next in line, about that person who is just one step back from the protagonist.” She doesn’t shy away from sharing the limelight if her role makes a difference.
