Yesterday, news on social media was doing the rounds that legendary singer S Janaki has passed away. However, another section of media did not report it. This is not the first time that such rumours about the singer’s health did the rounds and her family has been requesting people to not believe in rumours.

Singer SP Balasubramanyam fondly known as SPB who came across this news has found this rather disappointing. “Since morning I have received about twenty calls the welfare of Janaki amma. Somebaody has on the social media or somehow said she is no more. What nonsense is it? I talked to her ans she is doing very well. You see, what happens is, people love some artists to the core, they may have a heart attack. Please use social media for positivity, don’t make fun of these things. Don’t use social media for adverse things. Long live Janaki amma, she is very safe and very healthy,” said SPB.

“Why do you do all these things gentlemen? Shall I call you gentlemen,” questioned SPB.

It has been reported that singer S Janaki had a minor surgery which initiated the rumour. However, she has confirmed that she is very much hale and healthy.
