Rajinikanth fondly called as “superstar” by his massive fan following met his now wife in the 1980s. The couple met each other on the set of Thillu Millu, Latha Rangachar, who was then pursuing her English literature at Ethiraj College and was the cultural secretary of the college got an opportunity to meet the actor to interview him for their college magazine. soon after their first conversation, the couple realized they had a lot of common interests and an unexplainable connection.”It felt like we’ve known each other for a long time” Latha shared in an interview when asked about their first meet. Soon after their interview Rajini confessed his feelings to Latha and asked her parents for her hand in marriage.
