It is speculated that wedding festivities will begin February 9 onwards at Rajinikanth’s house in Poes Garden. The wedding festivities will include a haldi ceremony and a sangeet function apart from the wedding and the reception. The two reportedly got engaged last year.

Soundarya, who last directed ‘VIP 2’, was married to Chennai-based industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar in 2010. The two had a mutual divorce in 2016 which got finalised in 2017.

Incidentally, Vishagan was married too once. Vishagan made his acting debut in Vanjagar Ulagam, directed by Manoj Beedha, and has done small roles in a few other films. Vishagan is also a businessman and runs a pharmaceutical company. He was married to Kanikha but the two divorced later.
