Soundarya Rajinikanth And Ashwin Ramkumar File For Divorce!

Soundarya Rajinikanth, Superstar’s second daughter got married to Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist in a grand ceremony in 2010. Now sources close to the family have confirmed that the couple have filed for divorce at the Chennai family court. The duo have been having difference of opinion for a few years and have been living separately for more than 6 months now. Soundarya and Ashwin have a one-year-old son named Ved who was born in March 2015.

 

Soundarya took to Twitter to confirm the news.

News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family's privacy.

After Rajinikanth returned from the U.S. in August this year, he stayed with Soundarya for a while and tried to pacify the differences between the couple. But Soundarya and Ashwin have gone ahead with their decision to get separated.

Soundarya is a graphic designer, director and producer and owns her production company, Ocher Studios. She made India's first motion capture film, Kochadaiyaan with her father Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. She also paved way for the blockbuster Kabali by bringing the director, Pa. Ranjith and Rajinikanth together.
