Simran To Reunite With Madhavan After 17 Years!!

Sounds way too exciting!

R Madhavan, who has been relentlessly preparing for his role in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect – the biopic on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan – will pair up with his former co-star Simran in the film. According to sources, Simran will be paired opposite to him, with them reuniting after 17 years. The two were last seen in together in Mani Ratnam’s Kannathil Muthamittal.

While there has been no confirmation from the makers, an announcement is expected to be made soon. Rocketry, directed by Ananth Mahadevan, is about an extraordinary man named Nambi Narayanan. It is reported that in 1994, he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested but the charges were dropped by the CBI two years later, and he was declared not guilty in 1998. The film will focus on the scientist’s life and the ISRO espionage case. It has been made in Tamil, Hindi and English. The multi-lingual film will focus on how Nambi Narayanan was in-charge of the cryogenics division.

Meanwhile, as for Simran, the actress has been starring in many films after films. Her last was the recently released Petta, where she was paired opposite Rajinikanth. The role was not much, with her having fewer dialogues and only appearing in 2-3 screens, but fans more than happy to see her back in doing what she does best – charm the audience.
