Recently,the actor took to her Instagram to share a reel of her from the set of Sabdham. The Actor shared the reel along with the caption  “ Rolling into the week with passion, and a killer script”. Sabdham is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language horror film written and directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam. The film is jointly produced by Siva and S. Banupriya Siva under 7G Films and AAlpha Frames and stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles, alongside Simran, Laila, and Redin Kingsley. The film marks Simran’s 50th project in her 25 years of career. The actress is also sharing screen space with Laila after 20 years, the duo appeared together in the movie Parthen Rasithen alongside Prashanth which was released in the year 2000.

Simran was last seen on Captain, a Tamil science fiction film written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. She played the role of Dr.Keerthi, who is a scientist working for the defense ministry. Followed by Sabdham, Simran has three more films lined up to hit the screens including Dhruva Natchathiram, Vanangamudi, and Andhagan.
