Shruti Haasan Gets In Trouble With Her Boyfriend Because Of Tamannaah!

Shruti Haasan hasn’t been doing a lot of movies but is into music and talkshow lately. Her show ‘Hello Sago’ was a great hit and she has also been doing a couple of concerts in London. She currently lives with her boyfriend Michael Corsale. Currently speaking on the chat show ‘Famously Filmfare’, she said that if she were to date someone it would be Tamannaah Bhatia.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Tamannaah responded to Shruti’s comments on her. She said, “We are really good friends and so she named me….in fact, she didn’t want to date but marry me and this created trouble as her boyfriend called up Shruti and asked, Would you really like to marry Tamannaah?”

Well, it was all in good humour from Michael Corsale’s side. Tammannah’s revelation about the couple only proves about their strong relationship.

Asked to name someone she would like to ask for a date if she were a man, Shruti had earlier said, “If I were a guy, who would I take out on a date, Tamannaah! Actually, if I were a man, I would marry Tammy. She is such a good girl, I won’t let her go easily.”

These two are major friendship goals!

Talking about her choice of films, Shruti earlier said, “My first movie, I don’t know whether it was a right decision or a wrong decision. Actually why I see that as a wrong decision is because I was not ready at that time.”

An adaptation of 2001 Spanish thriller film, Intacto, Luck opened to a decent collection of Rs 3.17 crore and managed a meagre Rs 28.83 crore of lifetime collection.

“I was not aware of the depth and emotion and pressure of cinema. I was in a band and then suddenly I landed up here from the music world. Only after the movie was over, I realised its value. It was a learning process but ultimately it has been my own decision. So whether it is a failure or success, I am able to understand it for myself. Having said that, they have been always supportive from the beginning. I had my parent’s support,” she added.

She also credited her parents for her good looks. “Both (Sarika and Kamal) have looks that can kill and both of them have the same combination. I respect my father a lot; the way he does things, both personally and professionally. Seriously, I have a lot of respect for his achievements — not because he is my father, but because his style of doing everything is very different. Other than that, I can talk to him casually, I can openly share what I have in my mind. I would say that he is a kind of a very liberal father.”
