Shruti and Tamannaah have been BFFs for quite a long time now. The two never miss any event or any family parties where they can meet up and have a long chat. Tamannaah also never fails to attend Shruti’s birthday parties. Both the actresses balance between Bollywood and South Cinema but have no professional rivalry. It also gives an opportunity for Tamannaah to brush up on her Tamil.

Shruti Haasan has been signing some huge films and is doing great in her singing career too. Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhu Deva are all set for the release of ‘Khamoshi’ which is directed by Chakri Toletti. This Bollywood film is the Hindi version of Nayanthara’s ‘Kolaiyudhir Kaalam’ which is touted to release soon. It will see Prabhu Deva in the antagonist role and Tamannaah will don the role of a deaf and dumb woman.

Looks like it that Tamannaah’s friend and the mult-talented Shruti Haasan has sung the title song in the film. She stated, “I’ve been directed by Prabhudheva sir. I am happy he is a part of the film and what makes it super special is Tamannaah as she is one of my dearest friends. I’m glad to sing in her movie.”

She further added, “Always happy to lend my voice to songs in films. Chakri is a director I have known for years and he directed the first film I composed music for. So it is special.”

 

 

‘Khamoshi’, which will also see Bhumika Chawla in a pivotal role, is all set to release on the 14th of June. On the other hand, Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah’s another film ‘Devi 2’ is all set to release to tomorrow clashing with Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘NGK’ which is being directed by Selvaraghavan. It is reported that these two films would be Kollywood’s big break.
