While movie remakes have always been a risky game to play, film makers have taken fair chances at replicating the original, keeping the essence of it alive. When the makers of the Telugu remake of Premam released the Evare song, it met with a lot of criticism and comparison to the original. The hardcore Premam fans trolled the actors for re-inventing the track in Telugu for the forthcoming release.

Replying to the fans and haters, Shruthi Haasan had a genuine response and a heartfelt request.

"As Premam has become a favorite to everyone, I had my doubts about doing this remake but Chandoo has directed the film without losing the beauty of the original. Also, Naga Chaitanya is a good friend and the film has become an opportunity to share screen space with him. My small request is audiences should watch the remake without comparing the original", said Shruti in a recent interview.
