Turns out, reports suggesting that the actor was suffering from such an ailment were nothing but rumours. A few days ago, his family rubbished the rumours and were quoted saying:
“How can people write just anything? This news is based on what? Spreading rumours like these are not acceptable.”
He recently took to social media posting a photo of himself looking rather forlorn, from a photoshoot.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film, which also starred Shraddha Kapoor, did not perform well at the box-office. In the pipeline, he has the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy that originally starred Vijay Deverakonda. The Hindi version has been titled Kabir Singh, stars Kiara Advani and is directed by the same filmmaker who directed the original, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
“When we started work on the Hindi script, it was a very exciting journey. Kabir Singh, as the protagonist’s name, came naturally, considering the character’s graph. Kabir Singh has the same punch and madness of Arjun Reddy,” said the filmmaker.
Kabir Singh!
