What can better than getting a step ahead with the one you love? That is exactly what cricketer Zaheer Khan did. He popped the question and his dear girlfriend and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatke said yes! Zaheer, the newly engaged man off the market, took it to social media to break the happy news to his fans. In his post, he said, “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. #engaged.” While Staying true to her role in ‘Chak De India’ where she dated ha cricketer, Sagarika also shared the happy news with her fans on social media.

Earlier this year, Sagarika had confirmed that the duo will be getting married by the end of this year and seems like they have finally zeroed it on their big day.

The couple tied the knot today. It was an extremely simple registered marriage. Sagarika’s close friend Vidya Malvade of ‘Chak De India’ fame shared the happy news.

However, this is not the end of celebrations for the couple. Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan’s wedding reception will be held on November 27 at Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai. Sagarika earlier shared a glimpse of Sagarika and Zaheer’s wedding card on Instagram live. The card she shared was an invite for the wedding reception and it was accompanied by a special customized box of chocolates.
