Putham Pudhu Kaalai was the first of many anthology films that followed in the year 2020. It had five short stories directed by 5 top directors including, Sudha Kongara, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Suhasini Maniratnam, Rajiv Menon and Karthik Subbaraj. Now, the second edition of this anthology, ‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadha’ is all set to release early next year.

The teaser for this new anthology was released today. Again, the anthology has five short stories directed by Balaji Menon, Halitha Shameem, Madhumitha, Richard Anthony and Surya Krishna. It has an enselble cast of Nadiya Moidu, Joju George, Gouri G Kishan, Arjun Das, Lijomol Jose, Aishwarya  Lekshmi and Sanath, amongst others.

The anthology is all set to deliver the message of hope and love after the impact of the pandemic in recent times. Balaji Mohan’s segment is titled Mugakavasa Mutham and features Gouri G Kishan and TeeJay Arunasalam. Titled Loners, Halitha Shameem’s segement has Lijomole Jose and Arjun Das as leads. The third segment titled Mouname Paarvayaai is directed by Madhumitha and features Nadiya Moidu and Joju George. Nirmal Pillai and Aishwarya Lekshmi are featured in the Richard Anthony directorial, Nizhal Tharum Idham. And finally, the segment directed by Surya Krishna  titled The Mask, features Sanath and Dhilip Subbarayan.

The anthology is all set to release on January 14th, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video. Watch the teaser here:
