Actor Samyuktha Hegde who has done a number of Tamil films including Comali and Puppy was last seen in Manmadha Leelai in Tamil. She has also worked in a number of Kannada films, like Kirik Party, College Kumar, and Thurthu Nirgamana. This young actor, who is currently working on 2 Kannada films, was injured on set and was rushed to the hospital.

The actor is the lead for the Kannada film Kreem and she was shooting an action sequence for the same. She got injured suddenly and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Abhishek Basanth the director of the film shared to the media “Our team asked her to use ropes or a stunt double for the suggestion shots to make sure that she is safe. Being a martial arts practitioner she nailed the entire sequence but right before the final shot, she got slipped and injured.”

She then took to her Instagram to share her fractured leg on Instagram. Contrary to reports the team also clarified that there was no blood loss and the stains on her dress were part of the makeup for the action sequence. Apart from Kreem, the actor is also working on Raana, where she will be having a special appearance in the song, ‘Malli Malli’.
