Samantha, who was last seen in Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal’, is awaiting the release of Shaakunthalam. Meanwhile, she is all set to play a queer woman in the Hollywood show ‘Arrangements of Love’.  While there have been speculations that the South actor is all set to enter the Bollywood world, she is currently filming for the Hari-Harish duo’s Yashoda.

The motion poster of the film was released a while back, and that itself felt like a teaser for Samantha fans. Now, the latest buzz is that this film’s teaser is all set to release towards the end of this month. Apprently, 99% of the film’s shooting is also completed, while only a song is left to be shot in the slums of Hyderabad. To release it in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam simultaneously, Yashoda will hit big screens on August 12th.

Apart from Samantha, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and many others are to play major roles in the film. The film’s climax is supposedly shot in Kodaikanal nder the supervision of Fight Master Venkat.

Now, Samantha is also working on Kushi co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. She recently made an appearance on the Koffee with Karan season 7 trailer, and created a buzz for her statements. It is also reported that she is in the talks for the Hindi film ‘Immortal Ashwatthama’, starring Vicky Kaushal. She is reported to be headlining a film that is to be produced by Taapsee Pannu.
