South actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, took a break after her divorce announcement and also took a vacation to The Himalayas and Dubai. Ever since she returned from these places, she has been on fire, with regard to signing new projects and taking up new films.

She last hit the headlines when she shared about entering the Hollywood world. She had signed up for a film with BAFTA-award winning director, Phillip John, where she is to play the role of a Bisexual Tamil woman. Samantha fans, and movie-buffs in general were so elated upon the news because of an Indian actor reaching great heights.

Now, the actor has more news. Samantha has signed up for a Pan Indian film, the title of which was revealed recently. The Pan India film, directed by Hari & Harish, is called ‘Yashoda’ and Samantha is all set to play the lead in the film. The news was shared by the Production company Sridevi movies, that is bankrolling this movie.

Meanwhile, the actor has finished shooting for both Shaakuntalam and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal and is awaiting the release of both. She was last seen in ‘Jaanu’, the Telugu remake of the Tamil movie ’96. She also just finished the shooting for a special song in Pushpa: The Rise.
