Samantha Files Defamation Lawsuits Against Youtube Channels!

Taking a stand for herself!

On October 2nd, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya made an announcement of their mutual separation and that announcement broke the hearts of millions of fans. Ever since the announcement, Samantha did not speak up much, or make her social media presence known for quite some time because of all the rumours and allegations. Most of the allegations were blaming her for the divorce when it was very clear that the divorce was mutual. 

After a long time she returned back to Instagram two weeks back with stories and posts. She also gave a fitting reply to negative comments and trolls by issuing a statement on her story. Now, she has stood up for herself by filing defamation lawsuits against YouTube channels for providing malicious content against her. Few of the YouTube channels included are, Suman TV, Telugu Popular TV and a few other channels. According to reports, she has also filed a lawsuit against an advocate called Venkata Rao, who had allegedly spoken about Samantha’s marital life and suggested that she was having an extramarital affair. 

Samantha has been a subject to a lot of trolls and negativity ever since they had their divorce. Apparently, neither Naga Chaitanya nor Nagarjuna have been of any support regarding this issue. 

On the work front, Samantha’s films, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal and Shaakuntalam, are in the post-production stage. Meanwhile, she has signed up for 2 bilingual movies. The movie under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner is directed by Santharuban and the one under the Sridevi Movies banner is directed by the duo, Hari and Harish. There are also speculations that she might sign up for another web-series.
