Rumours have been running wild ever since Samantha Akkineni posted pictures of herself, her husband Naga Chaitanya, and friends on social media while on holiday at Amsterdam and Netherlands. While most of her captions include cutesy ones, a few really left the internet wondering if a baby is on the way.

She posted a picture of herself looking determined, away from the camera. The caption read: “The ‘ But why can’t I get a few pickles ‘ look”. Several users went on to ask her if she’s pregnant.

Another picture had her and her husband posing with the caption: “Strolling into the new year .. 2019 ❤ Great expectations.” This caption led many to wonder if she was hinting at the stroller that they would require when a baby comes in, along with the caption ‘great expectations’ hinting at her pregnancy.

Samantha Akkineni is someone who really likes to let her hair down when it comes to vacations. And after a hardworking year such as 2018, with several releases and some good ones in the pipeline, it was only fitting that Sam ended the year with a bang along with her husband, Naga Chaitanya, and friends.

She has been sharing glimpses of her recent vacation and you can’t help but wish you were holidaying the same way too, all snuggly and warm in jackets and woolen with only good food and good times coming your way.

The couple is also starring in a movie together titled Majili. They who tied the knot in October 2017 and are sharing screen space for the fourth time. In the past, they starred in Ye Maya Chesave, Autonagar Surya and Manam together. Said to be a romantic entertainer, the film will have music composed by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Vishnu Sharma. A lot of hope is invested in this film considering Naga Chaitanya’s last couple of releases like Shailaja Reddy Alludu and Savyasachi did not do well in the box office.

Samantha Akkineni was last seen in U-Turn and Seemaraja. She has Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Super Deluxe, featuring Vijay Sethupathi as a trans woman called Shilpa. The film will also cast Fahadh Faasil, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin, Gayathrie, Naveen Vikram, Jackson Joy and Bagavathi Perumal in pivotal roles. She is also expected to be a part of a film produced by Nani and has Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad on board.
