Now, in a recent interview, when asked if he would be acting with Samantha, Naga Chaithanya said, “That’s gonna be crazy if it happens. But I don’t know, only the universe knows. Let’s see.” He also expressed his will to be a part of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan. “On Koffee With Karan, why not if I get a chance? Karan Johar is great, I love the work he does. If he wants to have me, why not?”
He was also asked why his personal life gets more media coverage than his professional life. Replying to this, he said, “I’ve sort of built myself in a way where my personal life doesn’t affect my professional life. When your personal life is at the forefront in the media, that and not your professional life becomes the headline, it gets a little irritating and frustrating. You don’t like it when your personal and professional lives are connected. I don’t connect it and I’ve created a very clear barrier between the both. So, it’s sad sometimes to see people connecting my personal life to my films out of nowhere… or what someone said or what happened. But unfortunately, that’s the way it is today and I just teach myself to keep working harder… (focus harder) at my work and make sure my work shines and eventually, it will.”
On the work front, Naga Chaithanya just saw the release of Thank You. He is now awaiting the release of Laal Singh Chadda, Aamir Khan’s remake of Forrest Gump. He is also working on an untitled Venkat Prabhu film simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil.
Meanwhile, Samantha is working on Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda, and Yashodha, while she awaits the release of Shaakunthalam. Recently it was also reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to grace the Indian Film Festival Melbourne which is is all set to flag off on August 12th. According to the agenda, the Yashoda actor will meet her fans in the Capital city of the Victorian State of Australia. She will also deliver an in-conversation chat live with her audience about her journey as an actor, on August 13.
