One of South leading ladies Samantha is in a great phase in her life. Her happiness is quite evident when she talks to her fans in social media. Samantha is also very vocal about personal health and is always happy to share her fitness goals. The actress in a Q and A session revealed that she works out 4 times a week. During the lockdown, Samantha began practising Yoga more often than not. She is also practising meditation on a regular basis and promotes the advantages of it too.

She often posts several videos and pictures of her working out especially Yoga and meditation. The actress has posted her perfecting a headstand today and her efforts must be appreciated. Check this video out:

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Samantha stated that an actress who demands a hike is seen as problematic by producers, while an actor wanting a hike is seen as a cool hero. Three years ago Anushka Shetty had also spoken out about the stark pay difference. She stated that male actors draw audiences to theaters and that’s why they get paid more and that just seems to be an unfair comparison.

On the professional front, Samantha Akkineni has an untitled next with Ashwin Saravanan alongside actor prasanna. She also has Vignesh Shivan directed Kaathuvaakkula Rendu Kadhal alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.
