Nayanthara won hearts with her impeccable role in Aramm. The film was a success and director Gopi Nainar’s story was a terrific hit among the audience. Looks like it that the Aramm director is all set with his next story and the film which is touted to be titled Aramm 2, was reportedly having Nayanthara as the lead. However, latest reports suggest that actress Samantha Akkineni who is riding high on success is being considered for Nayanthara’s role by Gopi Nainar.

Times of India has reported that the director narrated a story to the Oh Baby actress and she seemed to have like it too. However, due to prior commitments, the actress has rejected the offer. On the other hand, the team is looking for another female lead to give a fresher look to the story and Nayanthara will not be a part of the film.

 

 

On the professional front, Gopi Nainar is busy shooting his next with Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh and Mahima Nambiar. While Nayanthara has huge films in her kitty. She is currently a part of AR Murugadoss-Rajinikanth’s Darbar, Vijay – Atlee’s Bigil and Nivin Pauly’s Love, Action, Drama. Nayanthara is also a part of Chiranjeevi’s period drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.  The film also stars Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.
