Rana and Miheekas family held an intimate Roka ceremony with only the presence of close family members. The simple yet elegant affair took place at the memorial of late legendary producer D Ramanaidu at Ramanaidu Film Studios in Hyderabad on May 20. Given the close bond that they share it was no surprise seeing Rana’s cousin actor Naga Chaitanya along with his wife, actress Samantha Akkineni at this special family affair.
The actress who is said to share a close bond with her husbands family expressed her delight by posting a picture on her Instagram account and thanking the couple for giving their family “the best news of 2020”.

The actress even took to her Instagram stories to share how happy she was to dress up after two months as she stayed at home like the rest of us due to the lockdown.
Samantha debuted in the Telugu film industry with the film Ye Maaya Chesave where she was paired opposite her now husband Naga Chaitanya. The actress was last seen in the Telugu remake of the film 96 titled Jaanu. Her upcoming film is Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal whose filming has has been delayed due to the lockdown.
