Sai Pallavi was beaten during her school days? Find out more!

A childhood love story.

Sai Pallavi is currently awaiting the release of Gargi and just saw the release of Virata Parvam co-starring Rana Daggubati. The film was not a grand success in theatres, but it is doing pretty well amongst OTT audiences. The film, that is currently available on Netflix, is a love story where Sai Pallavi’s character Vennila pursues Rana’s Ravanna. In a recent interview, the Shyam Singha Roy actor shared a funny anecdote from her school days when she fell in love with a boy.

During the interview she said that she was beaten by her parents for writing a love letter for a boy she loved in school. In the movie as well, Vennila writes a love letter to Ravanna. Speaking about a similar incident in her life she said,  “In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”

She then decided never to write love letters, and that was the first and last she wrote. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi’s Gargi , directed by Gautham Ramachandran is all set to release on July 15. The movie is produced by 2D Entertainment, in addition to Ravichandran Ramachandra, Gautham Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Thomas George.
