Her recent release Love Story is raking all the high numbers as her much-awaited drama gets its release date. The upcoming drama Shyam Singha Roy starring actor Nani opposite Sai Pallavi as the film is all geared up for a Christmas evening release on December 24. Nani took to Twitter on Monday, October 18, to announce that the film will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as well.
The film also stars Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian in pivotal roles with this being directed by Taxiwala director Rahul Sankrityan. The supporting cast features actors Jisshu Sengupta, Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, and Abhinav Gomatam in significant roles. The film has music by Mickey J Meyer, and it is bankrolled by Niharika Entertainment.
Sharing the announcement with fans on Twitter, actor Nani wrote: “This Christmas Shyam will arrive where he belongs 🙂 To the big screen and your hearts. TELUGU, TAMIL, MALAYALAM, KANNADA (sic).” Nani also shared a new poster along with the announcement.

There were speculations that Shyam Singha Roy will release on an Over-the-top (OTT) platform as is the pattern with several pandemic releases. However, the recent news has made it clear that the movie shall be receiving us in theatres with Nani playing a dual role in it. He will be seen as Vasu and Shyam Singha Roy in the movie that is set in Kolkata.
Earlier, the makers had released a motion poster on the 14th of October to mark the occasion of Dussehra. Sai Pallavi’s first look and the poster was also released in May, on the actor’s birthday, showcasing her elegant look in a red saree with a Trishul, indicating her appearance as Maa Durga. The actor also shared pictures from her sets of the same, earlier this year with a picture showing her legs in a fountain, expressing the aesthetic sets.
