With Karan Johar being deep rooted on the ongoing issue of Nepotism a throwback video from his season 6 show is doing rounds on social media yet again. In this episode of his tal show, Karan hosted three guests namely; Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and SS Rajamouli. During the show, Karan Johar asked actor Prabhas if he is dating Anushka. To this, Prabhas quickly reacted saying that it is he who started the rumour. He further asked ‘Wondering why are we talking about it now? ‘ His witty response became trending at that point of time and has now again resurfaced.
Recently, Prabhas’ uncle has confirmed that his family is looking for an arranged wedding and Anushka is rumoured to marry director Prakash Kovelamudi this year. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Anushka Shetty opened up about her relationship with Prabhas. “I have known Prabhas for over 15 years now and he is one of my 3 AM friends. We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on-screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time. Both of us are the same kind of people who don’t hide any emotions if we are involved,” said Anushka.
This is also the very first time the actress has discussed about her relationship with her Mirchi co-star. Recently, the media had reported that the actress is getting married to a divorcee and the actress was quite upset about the same. “None of that news is true. I don’t get affected by such rumours. I don’t know why my wedding is such a big deal for anyone. Nobody can hide a relationship. How can I hide my wedding? It is a very sensitive matter and people should deal it with some sensitivity,” said the actress.
On the professional front, Anushka Shetty is awaiting the release of her next film Nishabdham starring Madhavan. Meanwhile, Prabhas has resumed shooting for his next film Jaan starring Pooja Hegde.
