It’s been a week since Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ released and it still continues to soar at the box office. The film marks the ace filmmaker’s unofficial comeback, where after a long time, he delivered a film that is so compelling with a seamlessly stitched story with characters that are relatable yet terribly flawed. The multistarrer features Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, STR, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dayana Erappa and others. The music is by the Mozart of Madras – AR Rahman and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan.
