Telugu actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati are good friends and these two have been sharing a terrific camaraderie on-screen too, having starred in the Baahubali films franchise as the two titular characters. While they were sworn enemies on screen, they are the best of friends otherwise and even went on to feature on Koffee With Karan together, along with director SS Rajamouli. Needless to say, the episode was truly fun!

When asked whom he would set up his best buddy with, Rana said Katrina Kaif without battling and eyelid.

He also mentioned that Anushka Shetty, Prabhas’ rumoured girlfriend, was the sexiest actress in Telugu cinema. When it was Prabhas’ turn, he mentioned that some of his answers might get misconstrued saying that he would set Rana up with Trisha and that he found Anushka to be the sexiest actress in the Telugu film industry and also his favorite co-star.

While it was never confirmed, Rana and Trisha used to reportedly date but they have remained good friends since. As for Prabhas, rumour mills have been buzzing for years that he and Anushka are dating and that they might get married soon. Turns out, it’s always been a rumour even though it continues doing the rounds.

When asked if he would get married anytime soon, Prabhas said that he is too lazy to go through the trouble of finding a girl and having up a wedding. Rana, on the other hand, confessed that he is much more organised in his life and has a plan for everything when the time is right.

On the work front, Rana will soon be seen in Saaho, his next film after Baahubali 2. Saaho is said to be a trilingual (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) futuristic film and Prabhas has reportedly undergone rigorous training to perform some death-defying and high octane stunts. The cast includes Shraddha Kapoor, Arun Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Tinnu Anand, Chunkey Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi.

The action choreography of the film has been supervised by Kenny Bates, who has already amazed the audience with Hollywood hits like Transformers, Mission Impossible, Rush Hour and Armageddon. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is co-produced by UV Creations and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film’s music is by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, with production designer Sabu Cyril also on board. The film will release next year.

As for Katrina, she recently starred in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. While the film has mostly been slammed, Katrina’s performance was praised, as the troubled starlet.
