The couple who is currently the talk of the town have started their wedding preparations amidst the lockdown. Rana Dagubattis father, film producer Suresh Babu confirmed that the adorable couple are set to tie the knot not in December but sooner on August 8th this year.
After a fairy Tale proposal and an intimate Roka function, Rana Daggubati’s father and producer, D Suresh Babu, has finally confirmed that the wedding of his son will take place on August 8. Spilling the beans about the hush-hush relationship to the Times of India he said, “During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them.”
The bride’s mother, Bunty Bajaj, has been quoted to Times of India that the wedding will be planned as per the government rules at that time. How many guests can be invited will strictly depend on how many are allowed by the government due to the lockdown restrictions.
Actor Rana Daggubati’s love life has always been a hot topic in the industry. All speculations were finally put to rest when the Baahubali actor took to Instagram to announce his engagement with Miheeka Bajaj. In recent times the actor in a live session with actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu opened up about his engagement and upcoming plans for the wedding.
“It’s the person that’ll make you do that,” he told Lakshmi when asked about what made him realise that he was ready to ‘settle down’. “You meet the right person and good things happen and you say go ahead,” he said with a grin.
In a twenty six minute live session, the actor spoke about how him and his fiancé have known each other for a while and their families have been good friends. The super busy individuals were born and brought up in Hyderabad and have mutual friends in Hyderabad and Mumbai. Miheeka largely works out of Mumbai while Rana frequents Mumbai for his various projects.
