Beautiful belle Rakul Preet has bagged a biggie! It is a sci-fi film with none other than Sivakarthikeyan, directed by Ravi Kumar. Speaking at a public event in Coimbatore last month, Sivakarthikeyan confirmed the news. “It is true that I’m doing a science fiction film and we will make sure it will appeal to all kinds of audiences.” The project is slated to begin in Summer and A R Rahman will be roped in to do the music!
The actress will also be seen with Karthi once again in a new project after their excellent chemistry in Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. Directed by newcomer Rajath, Prince Pictures, producers of Mohini will be bankrolling this new film and Harris Jayaraj is on board to compose music. Rakul has the quite the line up with her next in South to be a film with the elder brother in real life, Suriya’s first film with director Selvaraghavan. Both films are expected to release this year.
Rakul also has a Bollywood movie in her kitty starring Ajay Devgn in the lead along with herself and Tabu. The film is said to be a rom-com.
