It was only today that Rakul Preet Singh announced on social media that she has been tested positive for COVID-19. Several from the film industry have wished the Indian 2 actress a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, in her social media post, Rakul has stated that it is always better to get tested and get well soon.

Several people who detect possible symptoms of COVID prefer not to get tested and quarantined to not face the consequences of the stigma surrounding the viral disease that is largely spreading.

However, Rakul has urged everyone to get tested as and when necessary without any fear.

In her social media post, Rakul wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Please get yourself tested. Thank you and please stay safe.”

On the professional front, Rakul will soon begin shooting for her portion of Indian 2 directed by Shankar. She also has Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan and Mayday in Hindi among others.
