They kickstarted their pre-wedding festivities with dhol night in Mumbai followed by sangeet, mehendi, and haldi at ITC Goa. The couple returned to Mumbai this week and has been sharing glimpses from all events with their fans on social media.

This post is from their fairytale wedding, Rakul is seen wearing a custom Tarun Tahiliani bridal lehenga donned with exquisite hand embroidery. Its a peachy salmon colour which has embellished flowers all over it. The tulle drape just adds that drama to her outfit and gives her the look of a new-age bride.

For her sangeet, Rakul wore a custom Falguni and Shane Peacock lehenga in off white and silver. The outfit was embellished with Swarovski stones, crystals, sequins, beads and silver acrylic flowers. Paired with a handcrafted blouse with full sleeves and a toasted beige shoulder cape ties the look together beautifully.

For her mehendi, Rakul is seen in a vibrant pink and orange phulkari outfit incorporating her Punjabi roots into the look, the whole fit is designed by Arpita Mehta. The intricate embroidery on her outfit took 680 hours to complete and is a fine example of excellent craftsmanship.

For her haldi ceremony, Rakul wore a vibrant glass beaded choli with Swarovski stones + a sequinned moonlit jungle-printed lehenga with metal and embellishments by Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. The bride and groom were adorned with haldi on their faces, they could be seen smiling ear to ear and one might say looking”yellow”.

Rakul Preet was last seen in Ayalaan, a Siva Karthikeyan starring sci-fi film, and has two movie lineups for 2024 including Meri Patni Ka Remake and Indian 2. Jackky was lastly involved in the production of Ganapath and will be acting as a producer the upcoming films like Bade Miya Chote Miyan and Ganapath 2.
