Rajinikanth wore a hat, a muffler and his shades tucked into his traditional sweater, while Dhanush wore a Santa printed on his olive camouflage-print sweater. The two are seen smiling brightly as Rajinikanth wrapped an arm around his son-in-law’s shoulders.
After the massive success of 2.0, Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Petta. Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Petta has Trisha, Simran, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Sasikumar and Sanath in key roles. With this movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, will be making his Kollywood debut. Sources say Petta speaks loud against honour killing. In this Trisha is paired opposite Rajinikanth for the first time.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is fresh out of the release of Maari 2. He has also announced another new project called Asuran which will be his fourth team up with director Vetrimaaran. The Maari star is also awaiting the release of his action-thriller Enai Noki Paayum Thota. The movie which has been the making for a long time is directed by Gautham Menon and has music by Darbuka Siva. Megha Akash will be playing the female lead. The Maruvaarthai single from the movie was hit and the track was sung by Sid Sriram.
