Rahman To Compose For Simbu’s Next?

After Eeswaran, actor Silambarasan has been busy with the shoot of Maanadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu. While the shoot is yet to be completed, the actor has signed up for his next movie, Pathu Thala, directed by the famous Obeli Krishnan of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal Fame. 

Recent reports say that music director A R Rahman is the music composer for this new Simbu film. While the shoot for the movie has been postponed because of the current covid situation, the latest claim is that Rahman has already started composing songs for the film. In fact, 2 songs have already been completed for the movie. 

A R Rahman was last seen as the producer of 99 songs directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. The movie was Rahman’s original story starring the debutante Ehan Bhat. He is also the composer for upcoming movies like Cobra, Ponniyin Selvan, Ayalaan, etc.  

While there is no official announcement about this movie, reports say that Simbu will be playing the role of a gangster while Gautam Karthik plays the role of a cop. Rahman is collaborating with the director after so many years since his compositions for SIllunu Oru Kadhal. Simbu fans await official announcement and updates on this movie.
