Trouble started early last year when the then President of Nadigar Sangam was accused by actor Vishal and Karthi of corruption in the association. Following these allegation, Nasser, Vishal and Karthi’s team won the Nadigar Sangam elections in October, 2015. Now, Nasser has moved the Madars High Court to file a FIR against Sarathkumar alleging misappropriation of Rs. 1.65 crore Trust funds.

Sarathkumar’s wife Radhika Sarathkumar in a series of Tweets questioned Vishal and other Nadigar Sangam members against the suspension of her husband who is also a politician in the present AIADMK government.
