PV Sindhu’s Emotional Message Post The Massive Win Is Winning The Internet!

PV Sindhu made India proud once again by winning a gold at the Badminton World Championships (BWF) by beating Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara on Sunday. This is also the very first time an Indian player has grabbed a gold at BWC. She is  the reigning Olympic silver medallist, reigning Asian Games Silver Medallist and the reigning Commonwealth Games silver medallist. She was also the World Championships silver medallis until Sunday when she gave the silver a Midas touch. Celebrities and leaders from all around the world praised the ace sportswoman for her yet another achievement.

Taking to social media, Sindhu expressed her happiness and humble gratitude. She wrote, “I could not hold back my tears when I saw the Indian flag and heard the National anthem playing. Words can’t express my feelings about yesterday’s win at the World Championship. Had been preparing for it for so long. Finally, the wait ended. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my Parents, my coaches ( Gopi sir and Ms Kim ) and my trainer ( mr Srikanth Verma) And most Importantly I would like to thank my sponsors and all my fans who have supported me all along. FINALLY WORLD CHAMPION 2019.”
