PV Sindhu Bags Bronze; The First Indian Woman To Win Two Olympic Medals!

PV Sindhu beat China’s eighth seed He Bingjiao in women’s singles bronze medal match on Sunday in Tokyo. Though she was out of the gold medal race yesterday, the champion made the nation proud by bagging the bronze medal. She beat her Chinese opponent 21-13, 21-15.

Shuttler PV Sindhu becomes the first Indian female Olympian to win two medals and second Indian Olympian with two medals after Wrestler Sushil Kumar.

Celebrities, political leaders, fans and the entire nation is congratulating the champion for the tremendous victory. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished PV Sindhu and called her the pride of the nation.

PV Sindhu won a silver in Rio Olympics 2016 and made the nation proud after a tremendous game. She won the World Championships gold in the year 2019, and also won silver medals at the World Championships in 2017 and 2018. Sindhu also won the silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
