“I was very close to my father. He was my super hero, my idol. I wanted to grow up and be him. He was a musician. He used to perform on stage. He was a surgeon and an artist. He was the life of a party,” she says in the video while montages of her father and herself feature in the background.

Her father died after a long battle with cancer in 2013. He was 64. In the past, the actress had several times said that she was very close to her father in addition to having ‘Daddy’s Lil Girl’ tattooed on her wrist.
