It is news for the PC fans as The Sky is Pink actor drops her surnames “Chopra” and “Jonas” from her social media accounts. Both her Twitter and Instagram now read ‘Priyanka’ as her ID. She also unfollowed him on Instagram though he still follows her.

This change in her name has led to rumors of the couple heading for a divorce, 3 years after their marriage. Tweets of the same started flooding the platform with anxious fans spinning more stories their way. One fan also asked if Nick is taking Priyanka’s surname and will now call himself Nick Jonas Chopra.

“These divorce rumors are all amusing. Priyanka is using her first name because she wants to use that in her future projects. There is no truth to any other speculation. Also, she’s not only dropped ‘Jonas’ but ‘Chopra’ as well on social media,” said Priyanka’s friend.

Over such speculations, Madhu Chopra, mother of the Desi Girl actor squashed the rumors by saying, “It’s all rubbish, don’t spread rumors.”

This loving couple got married in 2018. The two have been inseparable since then. Earlier this year, Priyanka celebrated her first Diwali with Nick at their home. Sharing photos, she wrote, “Our first Diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honored our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home. And to the best husband and partner @nickjonas, you are what dreams are made of. I love you. My heart is so grateful and full.”

Recently, Priyanka reunited with her hubby Nick Jonas in the US for Jonas Brothers Family Roast and shared an adorable photo with him on her Instagram stories where the two are seen snuggling up. “My happy place,” she captioned the photograph. Priyanka flew to the US for a reunion with the Jonas family for the Jonas Brothers Family Roast. The special will release on Netflix on November 23.

On the work front, Nick Jonas recently wrapped up Remember This tour. Priyanka has a couple of interesting projects in her kitty, including Citadel, Matrix 4, and Jee Le Zaraa among others.
