Recently, she congratulated MK Stalin on the victory of the DMK alliance in the recent assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. She stated in her tweet that after a long time the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is selected by people. This comment was trolled on social media for which the actress gave a fitting reply. She replied by stating that she knows enough about elections and politics as she has studied beyond her 6th grade civics textbooks. She dissed the allegation that her comment was an act of ignorance. She also laughed off a troll which mocked her for supporting Thirumurugan Gandhi years ago and asked the fan to scroll through her timeline as she has been vocal ever since she worked in the field of news.

On the professional front, the actress has completed work for multiple projects including Oh Manappene alongside Harish Kalyan and Kuruthi Attam with Atharvaa. The actor is also part of Shankar’s vigilante action thriller, Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, Nedumudi Venu, Kajal Aggarwal and Vivek.
