Priya Bhavani Shankar entered the Tamil film industry with Meyaadha Maan in 2017. In 5 years, she has already done 12 films and some webseries as well. While the actress has some films in her kitty, she has always been in the news with regards to her marriage rumours. She has however never responded to the rumours and have always kept us in the dark. Yesterday, the Thiruchitrambalam actress shared photos along with her longtime boyfriend Rajvel and clarified whether she was tying the knot.

Taking to Twitter, the actress wrote, “18year old us fascinated having a place by the beach, spending our evenings looking at the moon raise by the sea! And here we are stepping in to our new home ♾❤️” She also then clarified that it was just a house warming ceremony and not an engagement. “As much as I’m moved by all the love, let me just clear the air.. it’s only a house warming ceremony 😀 but I am happy to embrace all the wishes and love coming our way! We will save it for the future ❤️❤️ thanks guys🤗,” she wrote clarifying the doubts many had.

Priya is currently filming for a number of films. Last seen in Thiruchitrambalam, the actress is filming for Rudhran, Demonte Colony 2 and Indian 2 in Tamil.  She is also filming for an untitled Satyadev film in Telugu. She has meanwhile completed shooting for Agilan, Pathu Thala and Bommai, which are all in post-production.  She starred in a Tamil webseries titeld Victim which was released in Sony Liv. She is also filming for another Telugu web series titled Dootha.
