Previous Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav gifts Tokyo to Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, promises him Paris soon!

The elite Gold list is updated!

Abhinav Bindra, an Indian shooter is the first Indian to win an individual gold Olympic for the country at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Thirteen years later, the 23-year-old Neeraj Chopra, won the second Gold with a historic win in the Javelin throw at Tokyo Olympics, 2020 joined Abhinav in his win.

These sportsmen have recently met and got their fans buzzing with their latest trending pictures. Abhinav posted these pictures in his LinkedIn profile with the caption, “Was a pleasure to meet and interact with India’s golden man Neeraj Chopra! I hope that “Tokyo” will be a supportive friend and motivate you to get a sibling named Paris for him in 2024 !” To which Neeraj took to his Twitter tweeting, “Took my Olympic medal to meet its elder sibling from Beijing today. Thank you @Abhinav_Bindra sir for your family’s warm hospitality and for ‘Tokyo’ who I will cherish forever!”

These posts with a dash of love and humor show the etiquette of mutual respect between these athletes. Also, it is evident that Abhinav has gifted a cute golden retriever puppy dog to Neeraj named Tokyo and has motivated him to get a sibling for Tokyo named Paris in 2024 where the next set of Olympic games is to be held. This gesture by Abhinav has both been a sign of inspiration and motivation for Neeraj to bring home yet another gold from Paris real soon.

Hoping to see the pictures of Neeraj’s win in Paris along with his pet Paris real soon!
