The announcement made by the team said that the audio rights are sold to Tips Official, and the reported amount is a whopping 25 crores. The announcement said, “We are happy to announce @tipsofficial have acquired the AUDIO RIGHTS of our ambitious project #PS1 in all languages.”
Meanwhile, the teaser of the film is all set to be released today, reportedly at the Chennai Trade Center. Actor Amitabh Bachchan is to launch the Hindi teaser while Actor Suriya and Actor Mohanlal are to launch the Tamil and Malayalam teaser respectively. The buzz is that Mani Ratnam along with the cast are to be present at the Tariler launch which is likely to begin at 6 pm today.
‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is one of the big films of the year 2022 as it is directed by a veteran director and has a star cast. The movie is adapted from the novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which speaks about the Chola dynasty and empire. It is a historic novel and the movie stars Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Parthiban, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram among others. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman.
