The Pongal race seems to be fierce now. While it had been earlier confirmed that Thalaivar Rajinikanth’s Darbar is all set to release on January 2020, looks like it that the one to join the battle is none other than actor Vishal. Rajini’s Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, features Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Jiiva, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah, baby Manasvi Kottachi to name a few in pivotal roles.

While Vishal’s 28th film is untitled for now and will be directed by MS Anandan. The film will have Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra sport the role of leading ladies.

However, Deepavali seems to be equally fierce. Vijay’s Bigil directed by Atlee starring Nayanthara would be a big Deepavali release and the films to join the race has been confirmed to be Karthi’s Kaithi and Tamannaah’s Petromax. Dhanush and Vetri Maran’s Asuran and Vijay Sethupathi’s Sangathamizhan were expected to join the race but looks like it that won’t happen as the respective teams have not confirmed the dates yet.
