Samantha once told team JFW before her wedding that she is extremely close with her father-in-law Nagarjuna and her mother-in-law Lakshmi Daggubati. She further added that she was treated like their closest family even before her wedding with Naga Chaitanya. Post-wedding Sam gave her first hit with her father-in-law Nagarjuna with the film Raju Gari Gadhi 2. After which she has been unstoppable with back to back hits for over the past two years.
Samantha has now been quite active on social media and has begun gardening as new hobby too. On the professional front, On the professional front, Samantha has Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, an untitled next with actor Prasanna directed by Game Over fame Ashwin Saravanan. She is also in talks with her OH Baby director Nandini Reddy for a film with her husband Naga Chaitanya.
